Both. We've worked with pre-launch startups and businesses doing a rebrand after 10 years. Projects under $5,000 are generally not a good fit — the work requires a minimum of discovery, strategy, and iteration that we can't compress below that threshold without doing it poorly.
Discovery call → proposal → contract → kickoff → design (with milestones) → revisions → final delivery → support window. Most projects run 4–14 weeks depending on scope. We'll give you a specific timeline in the proposal.
Two rounds on all projects. Additional rounds at $150/hour. In practice, we rarely need them — we front-load the brief and strategy work specifically to avoid misalignment at the design stage.
Yes. About 60% of our clients are outside Portland. We handle everything async plus regular video calls at milestones. Portland-based clients are welcome at the studio for workshops and reviews.
Both. We design and build in Webflow. We can also design in Figma and hand off to your developer team if you have one. We don't build on WordPress or custom stacks — if that's what you need, we'll tell you upfront.

Yes, monthly retainers from $2,500/month with a 3-month minimum. We work with a small number of retainer clients for ongoing collateral, social, and campaign work. Availability is limited — email to discuss.
Food and beverage, hospitality, health and wellness, retail, and professional services. These make up about 80% of our work, but we've done interesting things outside them too.
50% deposit to start, 50% on final delivery. Retainers billed monthly in advance. Bank transfer preferred; credit card accepted with a 3% processing fee.
We book 4–6 weeks out on average. If your launch is in the next 3 weeks, we probably can't fit you in — but reach out anyway and we'll be straight with you about it.
